Protesters to be Allowed to Camp in Polluted Park

If you’ve been reading this blog you know that I have conclusively demonstrated that approximately 13 million gallons per year of effluent from the Lowry Landfill Superfund Site are being added to our recycled water and then sprayed on the grassland and pumped into the lake at City Park, Washington Park, and elsewhere. The effluent contains 158 identified pollutants and 10 radionuclides.

Now the City has agreed (see below) to let the protesters camp there for the week of the DNC.

That’ll teach ’em.

P.S. I hope not. I’ve emailed Tent State with the info. I’ll post their response.

    Readers should know that the Lowry Landfill flush no doubt contains a whole host of pollutants that are not even in the outrageous "permit" that has been allowing highly radioactive and other toxic compounds, including plutonium, dioxins, and so many other cancer-causing poisons to numerous to name - to be released back into the public domain. While the whistle was being blown about this for years, our local politicians continue to look the other way, while the top polluters line their pockets and campaign coffers. Follow the money, and be sure to spread a lead-lined blanket on the ground for any protest camp-out. Have a sense of humor if you get a tumor. Maybe there'll be a few dead ducks around, too so out-of-state protesters can see what our local wildlife are up against here in Colorful Coors-orado.
