A defendant was convicted of murder Friday in the death of a 35-year-old man in a fatal shooting in the Capitol Hill area in May 2021, the Denver District Attorney’s Office (DA) said.
The jury deliberated for approximately six hours before finding Donald Gonzales, 23, guilty of killing Gary Vincent McLaughlin.
