Does Denver have the talent to compete with the film industry on the coasts? On February 23, 2023 the Denver Short Film Festival may provide an answer. This one night event at the Mayan Theater will showcase 16 shorts from local and international filmmakers. Elevating Denver sat down with the film festival’s Artistic Director, Gio Toninelo, and local film makers, Dustin Chitty, Ann Allsopp, and Kipp Adler to discuss their films, the festival, and Colorado’s ability to compete with Hollywood.
