Denver Broncos stadium prepares to host Dallas Cowboys

Football is back in Broncos Country in 3 days! The Denver Broncos host the Dallas Cowboys Saturday Aug 13 at Empower Field at Mile High stadium in Denver, Colorado.

The Broncos have three preseason games in August. All three preseason games will air on KTVD Channel 20 — that’s channel 657 if you have Xfinity.

For those in 9NEWS’ viewing area, the games will also air live on the 9NEWS+ streaming app — for Fire TV, Roku and Apple TV — as well as on 9NEWS.com.

As the Broncos’ hometown television partner for a 12th straight season, 9NEWS has announced the broadcast team for the 2022 preseason.

Steve Levy will return as play-by-play commentator and he’ll be joined in the booth by color analysts Chad Brown and Ryan Harris. 9NEWS Sports Director Rod Mackey will serve as the sideline reporter on the broadcasts.

The Broncos new ownership group consists of Rob Walton, Rob’s daughter Carrie Walton-Penner, Carrie’s husband Greg Penner, Mellody Hobson, Condoleezza Rice and Sir Lewis Hamilton.

The ownership transfer from the estate of late Broncos’ owner Pat Bowlen to the Walton-Penner group was well-received by the other NFL owners.

Walton’s group received all 32 votes from NFL owners in a specially called meeting at the JW Marriott Hotel at the Mall of America in Minnesota on Tuesday.

The group bought the Broncos for a North American sports record $4.65 billion.
