Man sues Denver police alleging unconstitutional arrest after traffic crash

Body camera footage shows Denver police arrest Keilon Hill, 25, on April 27, 2020, after a minor traffic crash on Interstate 25. Officers arrested Hill on allegations that he interfered with arrest, but prosecutors later dropped the charges. Hill on Friday filed a lawsuit against Denver alleging the officers violated his constitutional rights by searching his car without cause and unlawfully arrested him while using excessive force. Hill alleges that the officers, who are all white, treated him poorly because he is Black and treated him differently than the white men also involved in the crash.
