Denver School Resource Officers reassigned to crime hotspots, following exit from school campuses

Denver public schools will begin the next school year without resource officers on campus, ending about two decades of partnership. Officers who served as SROs are now deciding to leave the force altogether, feeling like they’ve lost their purpose.
