and in the fresh parasitic offerings locally, some of you may have gotten this cop look alike carpetbagger’s email last week. here is the thread of discovery about the latest “management consultant” credentials including that her business is based in TX and a record of nearly 30 years of off and on police service in the state of FL with some shady transfers… Ok…. Do some folks still really think the people in this industry aren’t smart enough to use the internet and social media…

Now this report hits the streets, based on a non scientific three week sampling of undisclosed agencies, with absolutely no peer review, yet I bet this info is used in hearings against MMJ when the legislature resumes next January. We need to rise up as a community and demand answers to the following questions

1. How long has this RMHIDTA existed, and how is it funded?

2. What percentage of the funding is used on Marijuana? what percent on Meth(the biggest problem in the rural areas)? what percentage to heroin (on the rise yet again)? what percentage to cocaine (do people still use coke?)? and most importantly what percentage to diverted and illegally prescribed opiates (“legal” drug mis-use has increased 300% in the past decades)?

3. What is the aim of this study, and how long will it continue to be tax-payer funded?

Rocky Mountain HIDTA Medical Marijuana Report

 Tom Gorman, director of the Rocky Mountain High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area, issued the report, which consistently puts the word “medical” in quotes, notes that “in a Rocky Mountain HIDTA (RMHIDTA) 2012 law enforcement-sensitive threat assessment, the original draft inferred that ‘medical’ marijuana was being diverted and that Colorado was becoming a source state for marijuana.” However, “these statements were removed because they were not supported by actual data.”

this is a must read report on the groups that lobby to keep cannabis illegal, 2 of the top 5 are for profit prisons and the guards that work in them, Alcohol and pharmaceutical companies and police forces dependant on federal anti-drug funding round out the top five, the 6th not mentioned group is secondary services such a drug counsellors and parole services, who rely on the criminalization of non violent drug offenders who retain their jobs and pay for treatment to offset budgetary problems created by unemployed violent criminals who are processed in the same local system. share this info, lets expose the motives behind local legislative efforts, this is happening here at home, last year’s SB12-117 THC DUI limit bill was primarily funded by the for profit prison guard union.

And why is this the agenda? Hmmm I wonder if the rise in Asset Forfeiture has anything to do with it, or with the decision to deny banks the right to process plastic money when cash is so much easier to seize… “The Justice Department’s asset forfeiture fund under President Obama is the largest it’s ever been, having grown from $500 million in 2003, to $1.8 billion in 2011, according to a new report from the GAO. In addition to the fund’s size, payments from the fund to local law enforcement agencies totalled $445 million in 2011, another all-time high. These payouts are part of the DOJ’s “equitable sharing agreement,” which incentivizes local cops to conduct federal raids. They then get a portion of the assets seized during the raid (more money if they contribute more resources). That money is then used to finance SWAT and paramilitary training, as well as the acquisition of military grade weapons and equipment. “ gotta get those drones, Mmm new drones…

Our government is out of touch and out of control, more proof. 

The US defense budget is greater than the combined defense budgets of the next 17 largest spenders.
