Denver neighborhood award goes to Park Hill delegate Dave Felice

Ed. note: Congrats to our own Dave Felice – well deserved!

Denver’s Inter-Neighborhood Cooperation honors Dave Felice of Park Hill with the organization’s “Outstanding Delegate of 2013” award.  In the photo, Felice (right) receives the award at INC’s annual dinner from Master of Ceremonies Josh Davies.
Felice is recognized for his active participation in INC affairs, particularly the Parks and Recreation Committee.  The award also underscores Felice’s wide-ranging representation of neighborhood interests at meetings of government agencies.
A long-time resident of the Park Hill neighborhood of northeast Denver, Felice is an At-Large delegate on the Greater Park Hill Board of Governors.  He writes a monthly column on city affairs for the Greater Park Hill News.
Felice also helped establish the city’s newest Registered Neighborhood Organization – City Park Friends and Neighbors – to represent neighborhood interests in City Park.
INC also honors John Hayden of Curtis Park as Neighborhood Person of the year for his work to improve bicycle transportation in the city.  The INC Community Policing Award was presented posthumously to Doug Pimple.
INC bestowed its special “President’s Award” to attorney John Case of Hampden Heights for his pro bono work in challenging the city’s transfer of Hampden Heights North Park to the school district.
INC is a coalition representing approximately half of Denver’s 220 Registered Neighborhood Organizations.
